About Daisy
According to the United Nations Environment Programme ('UNEP') the fashion industry is responsible for 10% of annual global carbon emissions, more than all international flights and maritime shipping combined. For consumers, the solution is to recycle. For that to be viable, we need an efficient second hand clothes market.
The problem
But, the market is not currently efficient. Garments that are modelled sell faster and for higher prices than those that are not. However, the majority of people don't want to model their clothes on these sites. One of our founders' niece's photos were downloaded from one of these sites and then distributed on the dark web. This gross invasion of her privacy led us to found Daisy.
Our solution
